Dudley | As a full-time mum, Eve had been long-term unemployed for over eight years due to childcare responsibilities. Eve’s Job Coach James from Pathway Group encouraged Eve to take a more proactive approach resulting in a permanent cafe job.
Wrexham | Due to childcare responsibilities Charlotte was no longer able to commit to full-time work and made the decision to leave her role. Leah, her Remploy Job Coach, worked with Charlotte to secure a flexible work from home role.
Ethan Ray, Rhyl JCP Site Lead, has praised one of Serco’s delivery partners, Remploy, for their ongoing commitment to bolstering working relationships between themselves and the JCP office to create a joined-up, dovetail service.
With the Commonwealth Games fast approaching in July, Tom Beard, Employer Engagement Manager and his team, organised the delivery of the Commonwealth Games Jobs Fair in Birmingham. Working in conjunction with the DWP and Serco’s regional supply chain provision, over 640 Restart Scheme Jobseekers attended the fair, meeting the Games’ official contractors who are recruiting across the care, retail, cleaning, security, administrative, production, work-from-home and hospitality sectors.
