Digital Careers Upskill Programme

Digital Skills Overhaul for Businesses

The Digital Careers Upskill Programme supports businesses across Greater Manchester to upskill in key digital roles.

We’re working in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority to deliver the training as part of the city-region’s Skills for Growth programme, funded through the European Social Fund. This means that courses can be accessed by individuals and businesses at absolutely no cost.

The Skills for Growth programme provides an opportunity to support businesses as they rapidly develop and innovate to maintain and create economic activity and jobs, with a focus on increased productivity through developing the skills of their workforce.

For businesses looking to upskill their workforce, we can work with leaders to develop a bespoke training programme relevant to business’ digital needs.

Stats show that one in six UK workers currently have little to no digital skills. This is set to grow by 2030, with nine out of 10 workers expected to need to learn new skills to do their jobs, at a cost of £1.3 billion a year. [Source: techuk.org]
