With ambitious expansion plans, Birmingham’s popular tram network, West Midlands Metro has teamed up with Serco to recruit various roles within its Engineering, Customer Services and Maintenance teams. The joint approach allowed the company to access recruitment and post-employment support from Serco’s Restart Scheme (progression into work) and Skills Support for the Workforce (in work career progression) for no cost whilst tripling in size and doubling the tram fleet.

We’re excited to be collaborating with OneBelow as it rolls out its expansion plan. With the help of our Employer Engagement team, the retailer has already offered 15 Participants, one from Restart Scheme, jobs in its newest store and there’s more to come. We’re working on two more store openings this year and looking forward to collaborating on 20 stores being opened nationwide in 2022.
