Who can apply?
This Level 3 Certificate is designed specifically for employability practitioners who are new to the role. Team Leaders and specialists in supporting those with complex needs will also benefit from the programme.
As added value, we include the 22 IEP induction modules free of charge. These modules are ideal for those whoa re new to the role of an employability practitioner but are also a useful refresher for practitioners who may not have received a formal sector induction.
The Level 3 modules include:
- Introduction to the sector - the history and role of the sector, who the key stakeholders are and the main roles and responsibilities of an employability practitioner.
- The participant journey - this provides information about the participant journey and the support on offer.
- Participants and their barriers - digging down into typical barriers that we see across practitioner caseloads and how to support tackling them.
- Caseload management - Explore and understand how frameworks and working models can support practitioners to achieve their targets in key activity areas while supporting their participants through excellence of service and relevant and appropriate support to reach sustainable outcomes.
Those practitioners who successfully complete the full 22 modules will be awarded an IEP Accredited Level 3 Certificate.

The Certificate in Employability Practice features:
- 9 months study
- Accreditation by the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) awarded by NCFE

- Online learning (including a series of online workshops plus online materials to work through at learners' own pace).
