More commonly a 12 hour model is adopted for high growth business support programmes particularly those funded by the European Union. The intensity of support provided is designed to be adequate to meet the needs of the business and the required outcomes of the funding allocated to the programme.

Serco Enterprise delivered the government's UK Trade and Investment service (now Department for International Trade) in Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Serco Enterprise delivered the Superfast Business service between Summer 2013 and Spring 2015 across the South West of England. It was designed to help businesses to understand and exploit the opportunities offered by new technology and superfast broadband connectivity. Support was delivered through workshops, business advisers, specialists and an online knowledge hub.
This service was delivered in Cornwall, Plymouth and Torbay. The three contracts were aimed at start-up and established social enterprises, supporting them to grow their organisation, through business planning, funding, marketing and many other aspects of business. The Cornwall service intensively supported social enterprises to increase the number and size of contracts being won by facilitating business development, collaboration and engagement of potential product and service buyers.
