Delivery may be entirely face to face with a business adviser or enabler or a blend of delivery methods tailored to the business requirements including adviser, sector specialist consultants, events and online / virtual delivery through web or e-learning platforms.
What we have delivered
We have delivered interventions for complex grant funded transformational change projects of up to 19 days of face to face adviser time. More commonly a 12 hour model is adopted for high growth business support programmes particularly those funded by the European Union. The intensity of support provided is designed to be adequate to meet the needs of the business and the required outcomes of the funding allocated to the programme.

This service offers a tailored programme of high quality information, advice, digital development and grant funding. It aims to boost business competitiveness through increased understanding and exploitation of digital technology.
Past contracts
International Trade - UKTI
Serco Enterprise delivered the government's UK Trade and Investment service (now Department for International Trade) in Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Superfast Business South West
Serco Enterprise delivered the Superfast Business service between Summer 2013 and Spring 2015 across the South West of England. It was designed to help businesses to understand and exploit the opportunities offered by new technology and superfast broadband connectivity. Support was delivered through workshops, business advisers, specialists and an online knowledge hub.
Social Enterprise Focus
This service was delivered in Cornwall, Plymouth and Torbay. The three contracts were aimed at start-up and established social enterprises, supporting them to grow their organisation, through business planning, funding, marketing and many other aspects of business. The Cornwall service intensively supported social enterprises to increase the number and size of contracts being won by facilitating business development, collaboration and engagement of potential product and service buyers.
