We provide a seamless journey to citizens with low or no vocational skills and/or unemployed to sustained employment and income, by integrating employability and skills programmes and funding.
We also support small businesses to flourish and boost economic development. We assist LEPs and other local and regional organisations meet their targets, most notably through our SME support contracts throughout England and Wales. In July this year, the Restart Scheme held 10-day work experience sessions for Restart Scheme Participants at their offices for West Central and Wales. The aim of the sessions was to support the Participants by giving them valuable work experience that they can include on their CVs when applying for jobs. Read more here.
