Renaisi is an award-winning social enterprise based in East and South London with a mission to help people and places to thrive.  One of the ways that Renaisi achieves this is by providing a range of free employment and training programmes to support unemployed people on their journeys into work.

If you are thinking about returning to work, Renaisi will carefully match you with a dedicated Employment adviser who will help you at every step of the way.  You will receive regular one-to-one support, advice and guidance to help you overcome barriers, improve your skills and employability and gain access to rewarding employment opportunities. Once you have found employment Renaisi will continue to support you for up to 6 months to ensure that your transition into work is as smooth as possible.

Employment training and activities available to people interested in Renaisi’s Inspiring Families programme can include:

• Confidence building workshops
• Basic IT
• Employability training including: CV writing, interview techniques and assisted job search
• Fun group activities e.g. arts and crafts
• Advice on how to start your own business
• ‘Better off in work’ calculations
• Advice on in and out of work benefits
• Accredited training e.g. customer service or Construction (CSCS)
• Referral to specialist support to address complex issues e.g. drug and alcohol addiction, mental health or homelessness

Our reputation for delivery means we work with the hardest to reach individuals with multiple barriers to employment, including: low self-esteem; low aspirations and motivation; lone parenthood, family breakdown, ex-offenders; no or low skills and qualifications; anxiety and fear of debt or loss of benefits and lack of recent or relevant work experience.

Our  proven delivery modelling, including intensive 1:1 mentoring and ongoing engagement with employers means that every client receives an individual programme tailored to their own aspirations
• New technology and community engagement: We build trusting relationships with people in their own communities, and use the most up-to-date and appropriate technology.  We aim to maximise face to face time with our clients to increase long term engagement and sustainable outcomes. 
• Building mind-set and skills for work: Our 1:1 coaching and workshops focus on developing the qualities that employers want to see, including team work, problem solving, and accepting responsibility. We build a nurturing environment around each individual focusing on the right mind-set for success. 
• Engaging employers: We work directly with employers, providing clients the tools and qualities that they need to be successful in employment.
