To make sure you get the right support when you need it, you will be given a Personal Adviser who will help you get the most out of the programme.
Your Personal Adviser will explain what will happen on the programme and discuss with you to identify your and your family’s situation, anything that has been stopping you from getting work and what support you may require. Your adviser will use this information to create a personal ‘Action Plan’ which will set out what steps you and your adviser need to take, in order to secure a job that’s right for you and your family.
The Action Plan will be updated regularly throughout your time on the programme.Your Personal Adviser will help you ensure you have the tools, confidence and skills to apply for jobs. You will have access to a range of job search resources and you may wish to access group workshops or do a work placement to assist you to move into employment.
If you have concerns which could have an impact on finding the right work for you and your family - such as housing, health related concerns, debt, offending background, relationship and childcare issues, or wish to start your own business - your adviser will offer relevant support or signpost you to a specialist service.
