DABD are a registered charity enabling independence.  People have been at the heart of what we do for over 60 years and will be well into the future. Services we offer include support into education, training and employment, benefits and financial advice, personal care and accessible transport.

People face barriers for a number of reasons – whether its disability, unemployment, poverty, isolation, poor health, family circumstances or lack of training.  DABD want to make sure everyone has equal access to opportunities and support to break down barriers that prevent people from living their life as independently as they wish.

DABD have been helping people find work for over 14 years and have helped 100s of people into sustainable employment opportunities that suits them and their family circumstances.

DABD deliver Inspiring Families in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Waltham Forest, we bring our support to the heart of ours community in outreach sites across these boroughs including community and children’s centres.  Our Employment Team are dedicated and experienced, offering one to one support, group sessions, welfare benefits advice, support pathways, work experience, access to training and accredited qualifications, CV building and interview training to name a few, your Advisor will help you gain the skills and confidence you need to secure sustainable employment.
