Restart Scheme

The purpose of the Restart Scheme Local Engagement Meeting (LEM) is to have a regular strategic forum in place for all parties to communicate the service integration and local priority activities that are being undertaken by each organisation.

These meetings take place bi-monthly on the last Wednesday (Wales) and Thursday (West Central) of the month, between 14:00-15:00pm. See below for 2023 dates.

Since the start of the Restart Scheme, the LEMs have discussed many themes including:

  • JCP Regional Focus
  • In work progression/upskilling
  • Wrap around support for individuals with health conditions
  • 1 Year Celebration
  • Cost of Living
  • Green Economy

Wales – “A week in the life” with Mon CF. Operating on the Isle of Anglesey, Môn CF Anglesey will discuss how their organisation supports businesses, people into employment and the training they offer, as well as the main barriers faced.

West Central - Employer focus and introducing STARS (Serco Training and Recruitment Solutions). Hear from Serco Partnership Coordinator, Mel Dovey, about how STARS can support your business and from a local employer who have successfully recruited via the programme.
