Chloe was unemployed, very shy, and lacked confidence within herself. She believed that the reason why she had not found work was due to a lack of experience and feeling nervous in interviews.
Joining the Restart Scheme, Chloe was assigned Pamela Burke from Workpays as her Job Coach. In their first meeting, Pamela noted that Chloe was very timid and even had to ask her to speak up. Chloe has attended every session since joining the Restart Scheme, which has helped to improve her confidence and employability outlook.
Working with Pamela, Chloe now has 2 CVs, a cover letter, and interview skills. With her newly acquired skills and as a result of the Restart Scheme, Chloe secured herself 4 days of work as an Event Steward and still remains proactive while she searches for something permanent.
By engaging in the Restart Scheme, Chloe has remained positive and developed her skills. She has continued to build her confidence, taking the brave step to ask her Voluntary Placement Manager to be trained on the till system to further develop her skills in retail and make her a suitable candidate for future applications. Chloe has 2 upcoming interviews with Marks & Spencer and a local fast-food store.
