Restart Scheme
Over the next few weeks our Employer Engagement team will be hosting online sector-specific insight sessions to inform and prepare Restart Scheme Participants in Wales and get them ready for work.
It is assumed that a degree is a clear route into employment, however many graduates such as James struggle as it is often the soft skills and work experience which employers are looking for. James was supported to recognise his transferable skillset and was able to shine in job interviews and secure a permanent role.
After being out of work for a number of years, a married couple who were feeling knocked back both found work in the same month.
After being forced to give up work due to health problems, Colin was understandably nervous about suddenly being in the job market for the first time in 10 years. Following support to help him get back to doing the work he loved, Colin was offered a job during his first interview.
